     A beautiful lake like Porky Lakes near Claypit Lake is a wonderful place to explore; dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Lakeshore. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Stanley Lake Campground is always a great experience; Claypit Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Fox River Campground is a pleasant local campground. You'll stumble on a striking lake called Second Lake near Claypit Lake; a quick tour to Casey Creek is beyond doubt a magnificent  
   idea.
The amount of precipitation that falls at Claypit Lake is close to the national average; September is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Claypit Lake, and the overnight is a tad chillier of course, usually in the 50's. During the winter the highs are mostly in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Claypit Lake.
