Any time is a great time at Clarks Lake if you go for the outdoors. If you're a golfer then a nice close by course is Ramshom Country Club, and why not camp at Lake Park Campground if you're here at Clarks Lake. While you're here at Clarks Lake you can take a hike along the Newaygo County       Snowmobile Trail; Clarks Lake is a location with many visitors from Muskegon-Norton Shores. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Somers Lake is close to Clarks Lake; the Cedar Creek Cycle Trail is a nice hiking trail close by. Clarks Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. If you came for an overnight stay Chinook Camping is a delightful                  spot to camp, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Horseshoe Lake Cycle Trail. For the period of the summertime months here at Clarks Lake, high temperatures regularly reach the 80's while night lows are regularly in the 50's.
