Clark Lake is a great site to visit for more than one day, Henry Lake Campground is a great site to camp nearby, and lakes are such serene locations, why not visit Lily Pond. This site, the Gogebic Range, has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Head up to Big Powderhorn Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. Indianhead is a very popular ski area in the vicinity, and there are other places here than Clark Lake, for example Bass Lake.       But wait, there's more to do near Clark Lake. Hiking along the Alligator Eye Trail is pleasant fun, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Carp River. Summertime highs at Clark Lake regularly tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 10's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Clark Lake plunge into the-10's.                  If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Gogebic Range. Ontonagon County Park Campground and Picnic Area is a splendid campground nearby, and there are some splendid whitewater spots on Presque Isle. The Gogebic Range scenery is always beautiful.
