Hiking is a popular thing to do around Clam Lake; Grass Lake Trail is a magnificent local trail, and Royal Park Hotel is a good location to get some rest. Here at Clam Lake there are plenty of people from Detroit-Warren-Livonia, and a scenic lake like Tamarack Lake is a tremendous place to check out. | | Lake is a good lake nearby. Clam Lake gets a normal amount of precipitation; during the month of June you get the most rain around here; February meanwhile is the driest month. But wait, there's more to do near Clam Lake. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mount Holly since you're here; why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Copper Hills Golf & Country Club. some skiing at Pine Nob, and camping at Simpson Park Campground is always a tremendous experience. Throughout the summertime highs here at Clam Lake get into the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. Through
the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Clam Lake. Clam Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Addison Oaks County Park is a good local campground.

It's not very clean, you find cigarette butts all over the beach, finding it very unattractive, especially if you have little kids. I would be very pleased if that was an issue taking care of when I return to the beach with my kids. Also perhaps a no smoking on beach could be addressed. Perhaps they could smoke elsewhere. Like in the parking lot. Where kids wouldn't most likely be. Thank you.... |
