There's so much to do here at Clack Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Addison Oaks County Park is a good spot for that; Whigville Lake is a nice lake nearby. While you're here at Clack Lake you will meet lots of folks from nearby Detroit-Warren-Livonia, and there is a perfect hiking trail close by called the Grass Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. It's not very clean, you find cigarette butts all over the beach, finding it very unattractive, especially if you have little kids. I would be very pleased if that was an issue taking care of when I return to the beach with my kids. Also perhaps a no smoking on beach could be addressed. Perhaps they could smoke elsewhere. Like in the parking lot. Where kids wouldn't most likely be. Thank you.... |
