During the summertime months at Cistern Lakes highs are regularly in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's with temperatures at Cistern Lakes dipping down into the 10's through winter       nights. This lake is so wonderful. At Cistern Lakes you always meet someone from Jackson, and a fine close by hotel is Super 9 Inn. United Pentecostal Church is a good campground here, and Best Western Albion Inn is a great place to get some rest. A picturesque lake like White Lake in close proximity to Cistern Lakes is a perfect place to explore.
