Chrishaven Lake is right by the Newaygo County Snowmobile Trail, and you can never get enough of the glorious skiing at Cannonsburg. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. After a long day outdoors Comfort Suites Grand Rapids North is a nice spot to spend a night or two, and some of the water nearby flows, like Spring Creek. You'll meet a lot of people from Grand Rapids-Wyoming here, and Duke Creek Recreation-camping is a perfect campground nearby. Chrishaven

| | Lake is a good place of normal precipitation; September is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Chrishaven Lake is a brilliant place to visit for more than one day, Lakeside Camp Park is a brilliant place to camp nearby. Summertime highs at Chrishaven Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's, and the night is rather colder of course, ordinarily in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, | |

Croton Dam Float Trips

Rustic Camping also available on a limited basis. As of April 15, 2009 we have two seasonal electric sites available for rent this season. Rate is $700. 00 for the year. Our camping rates nightly are $12. 00 for non-power sites and $15. 00 for electrical sites. No running water/hand pump. No dump station. Outhouses and porta- potties in the busy summer season.
Excellent smallmouth & largemouth bass, northern pike, and walleye fishing on the backwaters to Croton Dam and also north about 5 miles on the backwaters of Hardy Dam. Spring steelhead runs, rainbow & german brown trout, and fall salmon runs down on the river itself below the dam.
We do not offer river services for the Little Muskegon River.
We do offer a car spotting service to take your vehicles down river while you boat, canoe, or kayak the river. We also provide transportation services for individuals and their own equipment for a reasonable... |
