Going for a hike along the Ward Hills Snowmobile Trail will let you absorb the       natural beauty of this region; if you came for an overnight stay Heart Of The Forest Campground is a wonderful location to camp. Crystal Mountain Resort and Spa is a great location to get some rest, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not go to Lost Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A golf course close to Chittenden Lake is Fawn Crest Golf Course, and Tippy Dam Road Campgrounds is a good local campground. Throughout the warm days of summer at Chittenden                  Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are usually in the 20's with temperatures at Chittenden Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place!
