LaCrosse Lake is a magnificent lake near Chicken Lake, and Chicken Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Ste. Kathryn Campground is a tremendous local campground. Just can't get enough of Chicken Lake. Americinn - Iron River, Mi is a glorious location to get some rest, and a wonderful lake like Glare Lake is a fine location to stop at. During the months of summer here at Chicken Lake, high temperatures typically reach the 80's with nighttime

| | lows in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Chicken Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.
This lake is so wonderful. Ski Brule is a very popular ski area in the vicinity, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Sturgeon River. Chicken Lake gets a common amount of rainfall; through the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is generally the driest month. | |

Head up to Brule Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Pelkie Creek Hunter Walking Trails.
Soar down the rapids of Perch River in a kayak. There's so much to do here at
Chicken Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lower Dam Lake Campground is a fine place for that. Tote Creek flows through this neighborhood, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Baraga Lakeside Inn is a nice spot to spend a night or two.
