Best Western Crandon Inn & Suites is a tremendous spot to get some rest, and don't leave Chara Lake without first going for a hike along the Kimball Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Brule River is so much fun, and you can stay the night at Paint River Forks Campground. This lake is so wonderful.       Ski Brule has good slopes and a friendly staff, and going for a hike on the Kentuck-Spectacle Lake Trail is always a good adventure. Some of the water close by flows, like Bleat Creek. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Chara Lake has to offer, you can camp at Iron River Rv Park. Looking for something close to Chara Lake? Bennan Lake is in the neighborhood, and if you need a place to stay Americinn - Iron River, Mi is a good choice. Chara Lake is                  a good place of normal rain; the wettest month of the year is frequently August, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. All through the summertime highs here at Chara Lake reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's.
