You're sure to come across some good folks from Sturgis here, and Chapin Lake is not the only place nearby, Omena Lake is a nearby lake. Summer at Chapin Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and night lows in the 10's for Chapin Lake. A common amount of precipitation falls here at Chapin Lake; most of the rain falls all       through July while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Chapin Lake has to offer, you can camp at Green Valley Campgrounds; an afternoon playing golf at St Joe Valley Golf Club is always a delight. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Chapin Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Star Mill Falls Campground is a tremendous site for that, and dry warm beds                  await you at Super 8 Motel - Howe. After a long day outdoors Best Western Howe Inn is a great place to spend a night or two, unsurprisingly you could also go to Minnewaukan Lake if you're here; it's not far at all.
