Why not stop by Chaney Lake if you're passing through these parts. This lake is so wonderful. Joann Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit, and a good place for whitewater paddling is Planter Creek. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun things the area next to Chaney Lake has to offer. There's so much to do here at Chaney Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Henry Lake Campground is a tremendous spot for that, and there's no such thing

| | as a bad day of skiing at nearby Indianhead. Throughout the warmest time of the year, highs regularly are in the 70's at Chaney Lake. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 10's with temperatures at Chaney Lake dipping down into the-10's through winter nights.

whitewater paddling on Black River. If you came to camp Presque Isle Campground is a great place to do that; Bluffs Inn is a great location to get some rest. So much amusing stuff to do in the Gogebic Range, not enough time. Hiking
along the Rainbow Falls Trail is splendid fun.
This location, the Gogebic Range, has so much outdoors fun things. Very tremendous water scenery is available at McFadyen Dam close to Chaney Lake; a splendid nearby hotel is Indianhead
Motel. This lake is one of the great places here in the Gogebic Range. Chaney Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is usually June, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is February.
