It's a delightful idea to stop at Buffalo Creek, it's in the neighborhood of Central Lake, and there's whitewater on Gratiot River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. There are some fine whitewater spots on Eagle River, and Meadow Lake is a nearby lake that       you could stop by. Summer at Central Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Central Lake. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll love Central Lake. Here at Central Lake you'll probably meet some folks from Houghton. This lake is so wonderful. A great swamp right next door to Central Lake is The Marshes, and if you're                  here, you could also go to picturesque Copper Falls Lake.
