McGuire's Resort is a nice spot to get some rest; a pleasant spot for whitewater paddling is Pine River. You feel that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Horseshoe Lake is a great lake right next door to Cedar Lakes. You'll need more than a day to explore everything

As it turned out it was by far the best camp site I had ever stayed in and had a great time. Our site happened to be next to the river with a great view, secluded and close to the river.  | 19 miles away Actually, the best paddling on the Pine River is below Lincoln, and especially in the section from Dobson Bridge to Low Bridge (approximately 21 miles). there are numerous CI rapids from about 20 minutes US from Dobson to about 20 minutes US from Low Bridge. Unfortunately, due to livery traffic the river is kept cleared to excess. Most of the leaning trees and logjams that make padding interesting have been removed so the drunken rental boat paddlers don't get into trouble.... |
