Econo Lodge Lakeshore is a delightful place to get some rest. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Cedar Lake has to offer, you can camp at Mead Creek Campground. From a rainfall point of view Cedar Lake is a relatively typical spot; September is when you       get the most rain here, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. East Branch Bear Creek is near Cedar Lake and is always a joy to stop at, and if you get bored of Cedar Lake you could also explore nearby Pelkys Lake. Going for a hike along the High Rollways Truck Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. For the period of the summertime months highs here at Cedar Lake get into the 70's; the overnight is a tad                  colder of course, commonly in the 50's.
