A visit to Cedar Lake is always a good idea. There's great hiking along the North Country Trail; dry warm beds await you at Grand Hotel. Cedar Lake gets a typical amount of yearly precipitation; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Cedar Lake. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's;

This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Mackinac Trail, and there are plenty of people from Sault Ste. Marie here. If you came for an overnight stay Bay City Lake Campground is a fine site to camp, and if you need a place to stay The Inn at StoneCliffe is a great choice. Don't leave Cedar Lake without first going for a hike along the Horseshoe Bay Trail, and St Ignace Koa Kampground is a delightful local campground.
