There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Homestead. Cedar Lake is a good spot of typical rainfall; the month with most of the rain is September, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful.       Tamarack Lodge is a fine spot to get some rest, and Boardman Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place!
