This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. Cedar Lake is a place with many visitors from Traverse City, and a lake close by is Brewster Lake. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Caberfae Peaks; get yourself into a kayak and hit Boardman River. A glorious spot to camp here at Cedar Lake is Traverse City Koa, and if you need       a location to stay Econo Lodge Traverse City is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the McKenzie Ski Trail is wonderful fun, and dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge. For the duration of the warmest time of the year, highs frequently are in the 80's at Cedar Lake. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. Highs through the winter are mostly in the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Cedar Lake descend into                  the 10's. Cedar Lake gets a typical amount of annual rain; September is the month that gets the most rain while February is ordinarily the driest month.
