This lake is so wonderful. Morrison Creek is next to Castle Lake and is always a bliss to check out. There's so much to do here at Castle Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Marion Lake Campground and Picnic Area is a glorious spot for that. There's perfect hiking along       the Kentuck-Spectacle Lake Trail; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Hobo Lake. Mex-i-min-e Falls is an inspiring location to stop at during your stay. Wild Eagle Lodge is a good place to get some rest, and Castle Lake is right by the North Country National Scenic Trail. An average amount of precipitation falls at Castle Lake; September is the wettest month with most rain, and February is when it's the driest. That                  right there is lots already, but it continues; Castle Lake has it all. The Anvil Lake Trail System offers hiking at its best, and if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ontonagon River - Middle Branch. All through the days of summer here at Castle Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's.
