This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Honeymoon Lake Snowmobile Trail is always a splendid adventure; get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Pine River. The Ward Hills Snowmobile Trail is a pleasant hiking trail in close proximity to Cashion Lake, and lakes are such serene spots, why not go to Mench Lake. The warmest time of       the year brings highs in the 80's to Cashion Lake with night lows in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Cashion Lake sink into the 10's. From a precipitation point of view Cashion Lake is a relatively common site; during the month of September you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest. Swamps don’t sound that good but Carpenter Marsh in the                  vicinity of Cashion Lake is pretty good; nearby you locate the North Country National Scenic Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail. Cashion Lake is a delightful site to visit for more than one day, Whispering Oaks Campground and Cabins is a delightful site to camp nearby. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up.
