If you need a spot to stay Comfort Inn Plainwell is a great choice, and School Section Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out. For you golfers we recommend close by Prairiewood Golf Course, and Hidden Ridge RV Community is a good campground nearby. For the period of the summertime months at Caruthers Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's.       For the period of the winter highs are usually in the 30's, and overnight lows at Caruthers Lake all through the winter usually sink into the 10's. Gotta ski! Timber Ridge is a great location to do that. But wait, there's more to do right next door to Caruthers Lake. Here at Caruthers Lake you'll almost certainly meet some folks from Kalamazoo-Portage; everybody close by loves skiing at Bittersweet. An average amount of rain falls at Caruthers Lake; the                  month of September is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful.
