After a long day outdoors Elkhart Knights Inn is a wonderful location to spend a night or two, and a lovely lake like Bellows Lake is a wonderful place to have a look at. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Swiss Valley, and camping at Willow Shores Campers Resort is always a perfect experience. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff       at Carters Lake. Marl Pit is right here at Carters Lake. A splendid close by hotel is Best Western Inn And Suites, and Christiana Creek has a glorious whitewater paddling spot close by. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Carters Lake. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Carters Lake are in the 10's.
