Lakes are such calm spots, why not have a look at Lake Nita in the vicinity of Carter Lake; Econo Lodge Lakeshore is a glorious site to get some rest. The yearly rainfall here at Carter Lake is about average; the month with most of the rain is September, and the driest of the months is February.
