Summertime highs at Carr Lake typically tend to be in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. There is a brilliant hiking trail close to Carr Lake called the Cedar Creek Cycle Trail, and camping is available at Wolf Lake Apartments and Resort. Near Carr Lake you locate the Horseshoe Lake Cycle Trail which is a nice hiking trail, and there are plenty of folks from Muskegon-Norton Shores here at Carr Lake.
