From a precipitation point of view Carpenter Lake is a reasonably typical place; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February. And if that's not enough, there's loads more to do in close proximity to Carpenter Lake. At Carpenter Lake you can see Briar Hill, and Carpenter Lake is a pleasant place to visit for more than one       day, Mesick Trailer Park is a pleasant place to camp nearby. Pine River is a glorious whitewater spot next to Carpenter Lake, and some close by water includes Burkett Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such serene places, why not have a look at Lake of the Woods near Carpenter Lake, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the McKenzie Ski Trail.
