There is a brilliant hiking trail in close proximity to Carp Lake called the Haywire Grade ORV Trail, and you can stay the night at Island Lake Campground. During the long summer days here at Carp Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 20's       with temperatures at Carp Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. This place, Carp Lake, it completely has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Getting to Island Lake from Carp Lake is painless, and the Big Island Lake Portage Canoe Trail is a perfect hiking trail nearby. Carp Lake is a magnificent place to visit for more than one day, Wide Water Campground is a magnificent place to camp nearby, and AmericInn Munising is a great place to get some rest.                  This lake is so wonderful. On a splendid day at Carp Lake you can take a hike along the Valley Spur Ski Trail; Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is a tremendous place close by. This lake is so wonderful. An average amount of rainfall falls at Carp Lake; the wettest month of the year is regularly September, that's the one that rains the most; February is when it's the driest.
