     You have to definitely explore Tokiahok Head if you're here at Canyon Lake, and there are some glorious whitewater spots on Salmon Trout River. This lake is so wonderful. Canyon Lake is not the only location nearby, Lake Ann is a nearby lake; if the weather is pretty, you acquire a delightful vista of Burnt Mountain from Canyon Lake. All through the warm days of summer here at Canyon Lake, high temperatures typically reach the 70's, and the night is slightly  
   colder of course, mostly in the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Canyon Lake temperatures dip to the 0's.
Canyon Lake gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily January, that's the one that snows the most while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation. A lake close by is Mountain Lake, and it's a fine idea to stop at Cedar
 
               Creek. Canyon Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Michigamme Shores Campground is a pleasant local campground, and Dudley Point is very near and is a fine place to visit.
And that's not all you can do here at Canyon Lake. There's whitewater on Huron River - East Br. for all you thrill seekers, and Best Western Country Inn is a tremendous spot to get some rest.
