If you like lakes and you're in this part of Michigan you can check out Canadian Lakes. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. If you need a place to stay Big Rapids Super 8 Motel is a great choice. For the period of the months of summer at Canadian Lakes temperatures are generally in the 80's. Camping at Blue Gill Lake Campground is always a tremendous experience, and after a long day outdoors Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Big Rapids, Mi is a great spot to spend a night or two. driest month. A lake nearby is Lake Mecosta; Canadian Lakes is good enough to spend more than a day at, Horsehead Lake Campground is a good local campground.
