    What a nice lake Lake Cadillac is. Lake Cadillac is not the only place nearby, Peterson Lake is a nearby lake; there are glorious places to look at along the Caberfae Way Snowmobile Trail. If you adore the outdoors, you'll fancy Lake Cadillac. If you need a site to stay Sunset Shores Resort Cadillac is a tremendous choice. There's so much to do here at Lake Cadillac that you need to camp here for a while, Birchwood Resort and Campgrounds is a wonderful site for
that. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is good on Pine River, and a lake nearby is Twin Lakes.
Through the summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Lake Cadillac, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are usually in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Lake Cadillac. Lake Cadillac is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Gleason's Landing - Huron-Manistee National Forest is a

             wonderful local campground, and Wedgewood Golf Club is a great golf course nearby. This is a popular place for people from Cadillac, and good skiing awaits you at Caberfae Peaks.
A great close by hotel is Econo Lodge Cadillac. Lake Cadillac gets a common amount of rain; the month with most of the rain is September, and February is when it's the driest.

Peterson Bridge S Campground

We had picked the pine river to canoe in the summer of 2004 and were told a good rustic campground would be a good choice. As it turned out it was by far the best camp site I had ever stayed in and had a great time. Our site happened to be next to the river with a great view, secluded and close to the river. I would highly recommend this campground for access to the pine river. Great canoeing, kayaking, fishing, etc. swimming...

Actually, the best paddling on the Pine River is below Lincoln, and especially in the section from Dobson Bridge to Low Bridge (approximately 21 miles). there are numerous CI rapids from about 20 minutes US from Dobson to about 20 minutes US from Low Bridge. Unfortunately, due to livery traffic the river is kept cleared to excess. Most of the leaning trees and logjams that make padding interesting have been removed so the drunken rental boat paddlers don't get into trouble....
