AmericInn Munising is a great place to get some rest, and don't leave Byers Lake without first going for a hike along the Haywire Grade ORV Trail. So many amusing things next to Byers Lake, clearly fantastic. Looking for a great trip? Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is pretty in close proximity to Byers Lake; Wide Water Campground is a great local campground. Dry warm       beds await you at Comfort Inn Munising, and there's tremendous hiking along the Big Island Lake Portage Canoe Trail. Hiawatha Resort and Campground is a splendid campground nearby. During the summertime here at Byers Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 70's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are regularly in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Byers Lake. The Valley Spur Ski Trail offers                  hiking at its best, and Nevilles Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at. The annual rain here at Byers Lake is about average; most of the rain falls through September, and February is when it's the driest.
