If you came for an overnight stay Hiawatha Resort and Campground is a good location to camp. Go for a hike on the Valley Spur Ski Trail; dry warm beds await you at Americas Best Value Inn - Wetmore. Byers Lake gets a common amount of annual rainfall; the month with most of the rain is September, and February       is when it's the driest. Man, is there plenty of fun things to do in close proximity to Byers Lake. Camp Eightthree Creek is a stream that you may encounter while you're here, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Nevilles Lake. Summertime at Byers Lake arrives with high                  temperatures in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's.
