You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff at Buttermilk Lake. A pretty lake like Farnsworth Lake in close proximity to Buttermilk Lake is a delightful spot to go to; going for a hike along the Caberfae Way Snowmobile Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of       folks from Cadillac here; you'll find a beautiful lake called Stoddard Lake. If you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Boardman River; Caberfae Peaks has wonderful slopes and a friendly staff. The amount of rainfall that falls at Buttermilk Lake is close to the national average; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. Stay the night                  at Oak Grove Campground, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn Cadillac is a nice site to spend a night or two. Summertime highs at Buttermilk Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
