This lake is so wonderful. There are some good whitewater spots on Carp River, and at Buschell Lake you always meet someone from Marquette. There's magnificent hiking along the Holyoke Trail, and Carp River is near Buschell Lake and is always a joy to check out. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something near Buschell Lake? Quarry Pond is close by; you can stay the night at Gitche Gumee Campground and RV. Marquette       Bay is near Buschell Lake and is a brilliant spot to check out, and if you need a place to stay Econo Lodge Lakeside is a great choice. For the period of the months of summer here at Buschell Lake, high temperatures usually reach the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are usually in the 20's with temperatures at Buschell Lake dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights.
