Kathryn Campground is a magnificent campground nearby; skiing at Ski Brule is one of those things you just should do. From a rain point of view Burns Lake is a quite common location; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. A beautiful lake like Saw Lake right next door to Burns Lake is a good place to take a look at; Lower Dam Lake Campground is a good local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling       on Perch River is so much fun, and why not take a little tour to Lake Thirteen Creek while you're here.
