Bumphrey Lake is a good place of normal precipitation; all through the month of September you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Traverse City is a good spot to spend a night or two; if you came for an overnight       stay Holiday Park Campgrounds-map is a glorious place to camp. Through the long summer days, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Bumphrey Lake, and the night is fairly cooler of course, ordinarily in the 50's.
