Try Wilder Creek, and a brilliant place to camp here at Buckhorn Lake is Westwinds Campground. Buckhorn Lake is not far at all from Battle Creek, needless to say you could also take a look at Chapin Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Rothrick Lake, and Comfort Inn Marshall is a wonderful site to get some rest. A splendid nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express MARSHALL; Buckhorn       Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Tri Lake Trails is a great local campground. For the period of the warmest time of the year at Buckhorn Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Buckhorn Lake temperatures drop to the 10's.
