There's so much to do here at Buck Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Stanley Lake Campground is a great location for that, and a wooded vicinity close by is Grand Sable State Forest. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Driggs Lake is right next door to Buck Lake; on a good day you can take       a hike along the Lakeshore Trail. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Buck Lake. Econo Lodge Lakeshore is a splendid place to get some rest. At Buck Lake throughout the months of summer highs are in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Buck Lake all through the winter typically drop into the 0's. From                  a rain point of view Buck Lake is a quite normal location; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is February.
