This is a brilliant neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Deadman Lake is a lake nearby. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Buck Lake has to offer, you can camp at Paulging Pond Campground and Picnic Area. Just can't get enough of Buck Lake. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Ontonagon River - Middle Branch, and since you're       here, you could visit Marion Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Wild Eagle Lodge is a glorious place to get some rest, and do take a hike on the Anvil Lake Trail System. Buck Lake is a good place of normal rainfall; throughout September this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Marion Lake Campground and Picnic Area; the Kentuck-Spectacle Lake Trail offers hiking at its best.                  Summer at Buck Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's while overnight lows are regularly in the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 10's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Buck Lake.
