     Econo Lodge Lakeshore is a pleasant spot to get some rest; camping at Fox River Campground is always a fine experience. The amount of precipitation that falls at Buck Lake is close to the national average; most of the rain falls through September, and the driest of the months is February. You'll discover a pretty lake called Fox Lake near Buck Lake, and a great location to camp here at Buck Lake is Stanley Lake Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Do take  
   a look at Panther Lake near Buck Lake, it's a wonderful lake.
At Buck Lake during the days of summer highs are in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Buck Lake all through the winter frequently drop into the 0's.

Most sites are grassy and have a mix of sun and shade and are mostly level with some having pads for the large RV's; there are pull throughs too.  We welcome big rigs, tents and anything inbetween!  We have some excellent spots to situate a group camping atmosphere or family reunion.  If you are a bird watcher, we are 3 miles south of Seney National Wildlife Refuge and offer canoe/kayak rentals through the refuge. Pets are welcomed with courtesy rules enforced.  Reservations are welcomed...
