An average amount of rain falls at Buck Lake; throughout the month of September you get the most rain around here, and February on the other hand is the driest. At Buck Lake during the summer highs are in the 70's; the nighttime is a tad cooler of course, frequently in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Buck Lake drop into the       0's. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! Buck Lake rules! If you need a site to stay AmericInn Munising is a delightful choice. Why not take a look at close by Bills Creek while you're here at Buck Lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Buck Lake; Lakeshore Trail is a pleasant local trail. Mosquito Beach Campground is a nice local campground, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Haywire Grade ORV Trail. If you came for an overnight                  stay Chapel Beach Campground is a magnificent place to camp, and do take a hike on the Big Island Lake Portage Canoe Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
