Chapel Beach Campground is a magnificent campground nearby, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not pop by Section Thirtysix Lake. Some of the water close by flows, like Bills Creek. Buck Lake is a brilliant place to visit for more than one day, Mosquito Beach Campground is a brilliant place to camp nearby, and a visit to Pictured Rocks National       Lakeshore is worthwhile. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is great here at Buck Lake, you can go for a hike along the Lakeshore Trail, and if you need a location to stay AmericInn Munising is a wonderful choice. A common amount of rain falls here at Buck Lake; September is when you get the most rain here, and February is the month with the least moisture. There is a perfect hiking trail right next door to Buck Lake called the Big Island Lake Portage                  Canoe Trail, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Munising is a great site to spend a night or two. During the days of summer at Buck Lake highs are usually in the 70's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Buck Lake drop into the 0's.
