Browning Lake is a nice lake to visit. You're probably addicted to lakes, Lost Lake is one of those close by, and Super 8 Motel - Iron Mountain is a great spot to get some rest. You can never get enough of the brilliant skiing at Norway Mountain; Rivers Bend Campground is a brilliant local campground. At Browning Lake through the summertime months highs are in the 70's. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Brule River; there are plenty of people from Iron Mountain here at Browning Lake.
