Hiking is a popular thing to do around Brown Lake; Alligator Eye Trail is a magnificent local trail, and Black Bear Lodge is a fine spot to get some rest. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Presque Isle. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Brown Lake. Getting to Plum Creek from Brown Lake is uncomplicated, and       why not camp at Pomeroy Lake Campground since you're here at Brown Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Brown Lake, you could also stop at nearby Crampton Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Rustic Manor Motor Lodge. A lake nearby is Deadwood Lake; camping is available at Langford Lake Campground and Picnic Area. All through the long summer days, highs typically are in the 70's at Brown Lake, and all through the night it cools down to the                  50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 10's while Brown Lake overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the-10's.
