Go to Brooks Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Brooks Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rainfall; most of the rain falls throughout September, and the driest month is February. All through the months of summer at Brooks Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at Brooks Lake. Hess Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and don't forget to take a nice little spree to Bigelow Creek.

Croton Dam Float Trips

Excellent smallmouth & largemouth bass, northern pike, and walleye fishing on the backwaters to Croton Dam and also north about 5 miles on the backwaters of Hardy Dam. Spring steelhead runs, rainbow & german brown trout, and fall salmon runs down on the river itself below the dam.
We do not offer river services for the Little Muskegon River.
