But wait, there's more to do right next door to Brooks Lake. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Mistwood Golf Course, and a wonderful nearby hotel is Best Western Scenic Hill Resort. This lake is so wonderful. You'll come across a stunning lake called Wiltz Lake near Brooks       Lake; Brooks Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Sunnywoods Platte River is a perfect local campground. If you haven’t been to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, you have to schedule some time for it while you're here; if you came to camp Sleepy Bear Camp Grounds is a delightful place to do that. At Brooks Lake during the summertime highs are in the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. Highs through the winter are                  mostly in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Brooks Lake. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not visit Pearl Lake in the vicinity of Brooks Lake, and gorgeous scenery and nice skiing is what you acquire at Homestead. Brooks Lake is a good place of typical rainfall; through September this area sees the most rain while February is mostly the driest month.
