Do pop by Pierce Lake in the vicinity of Brewster Lake, it's a gorgeous lake; if you need a site to stay Yarrow Golf & Conference Center is a tremendous choice. A fine spot to camp here at Brewster Lake is Wesleyan Campgrounds. An average amount of rainfall falls at Brewster Lake; September is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Barry's Resort and Mobile Home since you're here

High temperatures at Brewster Lake all through the warm days of summer are in the 80's while night lows are ordinarily in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Brewster Lake are in the 10's. Gun Ridge Golf Course is a golf course next to Brewster Lake, and Baymont Inn & Suites Battle Creek Downtown is a nice spot to get some rest. | |

If you are out there, please respond....I am 71 years old now and spent my 10 to 20 years old summers at Barlow lake. Visited there a couple of years ago after not being there for 40 years and found an old friend still living there - Al (Alfie) Lewis living at the old mill.... |

Bittersweet

Bittersweet has enormous snow-making capacity and is consistently the first to open in SW Michigan. Their vertical is only 350 ft, but that's about 100 more than any other resort in SW Michigan. As noted, their lift system is impressive, particularly the high speed detachable quad, but lines can get a little long on late December weekends. Their terrain park has a good variety of boxes, jumps, etc. Very friendly people....Yea you guys rock i love the snow...Ahh yes, Bittersweet Ski Area... Michigan skiing at it's very best. The drops in these part of the country are not that impressive but I think Bittersweet makes the most of it. I do recommend this ski area.... |
