Really good skiing awaits you at Cannonsburg, and a lake nearby is Sealey Lake. The annual rain here at Breford Lake is about average; September is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Here at Breford Lake you'll possibly meet some folks from Grand Rapids-Wyoming, and camping is available at Lakeside Camp Park. This lake is so wonderful. Excellent smallmouth & largemouth bass, northern pike, and walleye fishing on the backwaters to Croton Dam and also north about 5 miles on the backwaters of Hardy Dam. Spring steelhead runs, rainbow & german brown trout, and fall salmon runs down on the river itself below the dam.
We do not offer river services for the Little Muskegon River.
