Breeds Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Manistee Station Cabin and Camping is a delightful local campground, and since you're here, you could also explore beautiful Woodard Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A nice close by hotel is Econo       Lodge Kalkaska; Ingersoll Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. Be careful coming to Breeds Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again. The warmest time of the year at Breeds Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's; the nighttime is fairly chillier of course, frequently in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Breeds Lake temperatures plunge to the 10's. After a                  long day outdoors Legend Cottage Inn is a fine place to spend a night or two; you're sure to come across some smiling people from Cadillac here.
