Near Bowstead Lake you locate the Pelkie Creek Hunter Walking Trails which is a tremendous hiking trail, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Ski Brule while you're here. Float down the rapids of Perch River in a kayak, and not far from Bowstead Lake you'll locate Upper Dam Lake which is a picturesque lake. Americinn - Iron River, Mi is a magnificent spot to get some rest, and you can never get enough of the brilliant skiing at Brule

| | Mountain. There are other places here than Bowstead Lake, for example Thomas Lake, and camping at Lake Ste. Kathryn Campground is always a delightful experience. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Sturgeon River offers some glorious whitewater; if you came to camp Lower Dam Lake Campground is a pleasant site to do that. at Best Western Baraga Lakeside Inn, and some of the water close by flows, like Glitter Creek. This lake is so wonderful. It's always delightful to pop by Roadside Spring. Bowstead Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; through
the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is frequently the driest month. The warmest time of the year at Bowstead Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink
down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Bowstead Lake.
