     There's so much to do here at Bows Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lakes Of The North Campground is a perfect place for that. Lakes are fine; Kidney Lake is a lake that's near Bows Lake. This is a great neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Hoffman Lake is a lake in close proximity; hey, Gotta ski right? Boyne Mountain is a glorious location to do that. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Bows Lake; the month of September is the  
   wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. What would winter be without some skiing at Treetops Sylvan, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express GAYLORD.
Having a glorious time at Bows Lake is painless. Paddling on Bear River is so much fun; whitewater paddling is nice on Sturgeon River. For the duration of the days of summer here at Bows Lake, high temperatures regularly reach the 70's. Summer overnight
 
               lows dip down to the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Bows Lake tend to be in the 10's.
This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Bows Lake has to offer, you can camp at Gaylord Campground; if you need a place to stay Quality Inn Gaylord is a brilliant choice.

There are some challenging additions such as a beginner 16' battle ship kinked rail as well as a 16' intermediate rainbow rail. In addition, there are man-made and natural jib features such as barrels, and logs that can be used to slide or jump over or tap with skis or boards. Nordic enthusiasts will find the ''Midwest's best terrain'' for cross-country skiing. The 12 km of groomed and tracked trails are all clearly marked and range in difficulty from beginner to expert. Treetops also offers extreme (snow) tubing. The tubing ride is available by 1.5 hour sessions for up to 30 people at a time. Advance reservations can be made for this exhilarating experience. Tubing is separate from the ski area and is available for a ''ride on the wild side.'' While the snow at Treetops is usually abundant, state of the art snowmaking and grooming equipment can pile up the snow and have it groomed into fresh blankets of snow in hours.
