From a rainfall point of view Boufford Lake is a relatively typical spot; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Boufford Lake you discover Sand Bay, and a quick       trip to Martin Creek is positively a splendid idea. For the period of the months of summer highs here at Boufford Lake get into the 70's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's, and nighttime lows throughout the winter for Boufford Lake tend to be in the 0's. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Boufford Lake. Stay the night at Vagabond Resort and Campground; why not head                  up to Gladstone Ski Park and strap some skis to your feet. Going for a hike along the Haymeadow Falls Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, obviously you could also have a look at Lake Little Sixteen if you're here; it's not far at all. A lake close by is Indian Town Lake; Boufford Lake is not far at all from Escanaba. There's so much to do here at Boufford Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Whispering Valley Campground is a great spot for that, and a great nearby hotel is Econo Lodge Escanaba.
