The sight of Arcadian Hill from Boston Lake is stunning, and camping at Sunset Bay RV Resort is always a nice experience. A fine nearby hotel is Houghton Super 8 Motel; if you have the time, Isle Royale National Park is a national park worth taking a look at. Summertime highs at Boston Lake mostly tend to be in the 70's, and the overnight is quite cooler of course, usually in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are typically       in the 20's with temperatures at Boston Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff at Boston Lake. A round of golf at nearby Michigan Technological University Golf Course is a nice way to kill some time; whitewater paddling is great on Gratiot River. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Hancock Recreation Area is a great location to do that, and you'll possibly meet some folks                  from Houghton here. After a long day outdoors Best Western Franklin Square Inn is a great place to spend a night or two, and paddling on Eagle River is so much fun.
